About the Album

The songs on this album were written mostly in the early ’70?s. They express the struggles and joys I experienced along my spiritual journey after I had returned to my faith in Jesus Christ. The urge to sing about my experience and the lessons I had learned seemed as natural as breathing, but were really, looking back now, the prompting of the Holy Spirit. At the time there was no “Christian music market” or, at least, none that I was aware of. So, when Rick Grande, my childhood friend, and I composed these songs there was no other purpose than to praise God in song and share that with family and friends. The music, therefore, reflected the influence of the music of that time and some of our favorite artists.
